Hello Friends of Prevention,
Ensuring your child's healthy development and ensuring that s/he gets good nutrition are two of the most important jobs of parenting. This month's newsletter focuses on a range of topics and resources to help you make good decisions regarding the nutritional health of your child throughout any stage of development.
We also feature an article on the Education Begins at Home Act recently passed by the Education and Labor Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. This important legislation would provide much needed funding to early childhood home visitation services.
And finally, support for our cause. We are always delighted to highlight the many individuals and organizations that support our mission. This month, the spotlight is on the Tommie Harris Foundation.
Enjoy!
